(13) Democratization of the Renewable Economy

The provision of the country’s energy supply is currently controlled by corporations and consortia.  Under democratization, individual citizens and small and medium enterprises could be enabled through subsidies, tax reductions or other incentives to feed electricity from solar energy or other renewable resources into the national grid and, as voters in local council elections or as local councillors, to participate in establishing priority zones when national incentives were allocated geographically.
